5 Things Women’s Running Loved This Week

Ogee Hydraganics Sculpted Lip Oil, $22

“Ogee’s Sculpted Lip Oil is perfect for rehydrating lips parched by intense exercise or long days enjoying the summer sun. Created with organic ingredients and never tested on animals, this deeply moisturizing lip balm is made with jojoba seed oil and comes in a convenient lip pencil design. The inclusion of peppermint oil makes this balm taste great and gives a slight plumping effect to the lips.” —Rebecca Warren, editor-in-chief

Daelmans Mini Stroopwafels, $3

These mini caramel-filled, thin wafels are a great pick-me-up and light enough to eat right before a run. They also go well with your morning coffee if you need to satisfy your sweet tooth after eating your eggs. Yum!” —Nicki Miller, executive editor at Competitor magazine

Dripo 2-in-1 Travel Iced-Drip Coffee Maker and Tumbler, $35

“I love cold brew and always wanted to make it at home. Although this takes two hours, it is still the simplest way I’ve found to make my own cold brew. I just set it up and forget it and have the perfect mid-morning cup of coffee.” —Ashley Lauretta, freelance web editor

Luna Bar Cinnamon Almond Swirl, $2

“Luna’s S’mores bar has been one of my favorite pre-run snacks for years, but this new flavor is giving it some competition. Though the Cinnamon Almond Swirl has only seven grams of protein compared with the S’mores’ original nine, the tasty cinnamon-almond-vanilla blend is a nice alternative for those of us that like to keep a handful of energy bars on hand.” —Meghan Roos, associate web editor

Project Repat T-Shirt Quilt, $75

“After many years and storage boxes later, I finally decided to turn my race t-shirts into a quilt. Project Repat was so easy to work with and turned 49 of my favorite race shirts into a Queen-sized quilt. It’s so comfy! You get to choose what color fleece lining you want and can instruct them on the design, too. A couple weeks later, I had a fabulous memory blanket. Plus, all the designing and crafting is in the U.S., creating fair wage jobs.” —Fara Rosenzweig, freelance writer
