The Women's Running editorial team shares 5 things they loved during the week of July 21, 2017.
“Oh my! Talk about a great chocolate snack with good ingredients. These gluten-free snacks are the perfect size for a quick nibble, and what’s inside—whole grains, sea salt and dutch cocoa—make you feel satisfied but not like you just ate a sugar high.” —Caitlyn Pilkington, web editor
“When I first started running marathons in 2003 running gear looked just like that—running gear. Now with the rise of athleisure type styles I can have my cake and eat it, too! This top from Brooks is functional while running, but I also enjoy wearing it on the weekends when I’m darting from soccer games to basketball games for my kids. It’s longer and doesn’t ride up, which helps to keep my core warm on chilly runs.” —Dorothy Beal of Mile Posts and #TeamWR contributor
“We’ve started to see smaller popcorn on the market and we were excited by the flavors and taste in this brand. I didn’t think smaller popcorn was something I’d necessarily want, but the pieces are a little easier to chew and there’s a little less air in each bite, which amps up the flavor a little. Very interesting! In addition to traditional flavors like salted, butter or naked, there’s truffle sea salt, white cheddar and sweet & salty. You might have to try them all.” —Nicki Miller, managing editor
“I was looking a way to be more ‘eco’ with my time of the month and the menstrual cup is the solution I didn’t expect to love. Lunette makes many options and gives clear instructions—both for use and cleaning—making that time of the month forever changed.” —Allison Pattillo, contributing gear editor
“I’ve seen friends post pictures of their Bento Box lunches and was ready to give it a try—and I was not disappointed. Gone are the days where I pack way too much protein and not enough vegetables thanks to this kit and these labelled containers. It is easy-to-clean and cute to boot, making me love lunchtime even more.” —Ashley Lauretta, freelance web editor
