I have never gotten so many compliments on my shoes before—everyone who saw these wanted a pair. It's so difficult to find a truly comfy shoe that doesn't look "dorky," and these shoes take care of that problem. My super-sensitive tummy makes it difficult to approach fueling with a laid-back attitude. Instead I have to test out products several times to make sure they are mid-run approved by my gut. I've never been one to do shots of wheatgrass (yuck), but I didn't decline when offered a taste of this green juice, since I know about the health benefits ranging from increased immunity to decreased inflammation. My immediate reaction was that it actually tasted good (the apple and lemon juices are a great combo) but beyond that, I felt an immediate mental perk. I wasn't expecting anything, so I don't think it was a placebo effect. Velu is more readily available on the East Coast (especially Florida), so the next time I'm visiting family there, I look forward to trying a whole bottle.
