Warning: you may never want to take these running capris off. Stonewear Fusion Carpri is extremely soft and flattering. The wide, elastic waistband eliminates the muffin-top look, slimming the waist. I probably haven't run in Asics since high school, and according to most, I broke the big rule of not using a brand-new pair of shoes to run a race. But apparently it wasn't too bad—I tried this pair for the first time during a half marathon and almost PRed and placed second in the race. Who knows if it was training or the magic shoes, but the shoes not hurting and feeling light as a feather definitely didn't hurt the race! —Caitlyn Pilkington, web editor
Hiking pants that look like real pants but feel like leggings? Yes, please! I spent a week hiking around the Azores Islands in these pants and was so comfortable the entire time. Even better, the pants look great, so you can wear them out and about if you're just looking for some cool functional gear. I just ordered two more pairs! —Danielle Cemprola, The T-Rex Runner and WR blogger
Since I get calluses on my toes and the sides of my feet—and have found that my feet are much happier on the run if I keep them to a minimum—I'm always on the lookout for a nice, thick cream. I another one I liked, but my husband complained of the perfumey aroma. I tend to slather my feet up before hitting the sack, so not a good time to be smelly! This product is fragrance-free and one of the best non-greasy formulas I've tried that doesn't completely disappear immediately. Given its name, this started out on my feet, but it's so smooth and hydrating that I started using it on my legs and elbows. It came in particularly handy after a Tough Mudder when my skin was completely parched. —Nicki Miller, managing editor
