With words like fartlek to supination, it’s not surprising that people who don’t run think that we speak a crazy made up language all our own. I often find myself struggling to find the perfect word for how beat up, tired, or hungry I feel before, during or after a run. And since we already have dozens of official (and bizarre) running terms, I thought why not add some more! Here are 7 brand new words made by runners for runners.
