Skip the oven with these eight recipes perfect to make in the end of summer heat.
An unexpected burst of pomegranate seeds make this dip a favorite for Olympic medalist Shawn Johnson. Try it with pita chips or endive leaves!
2 avocados, pitted and peeled
1 Tbsp. basil, chopped
1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
2 tsp. cumin
2 Tbsp. jalapeños, seeded and chopped
2 Tbsp. green onions, chopped
Juice of 1 lime
Salt and pepper, to taste
Mash avocados in medium bowl until chunky. Gently mix in pomegranate seeds and basil. Add remaining ingredients and season to taste.
