Try these moves that are easy to execute in your living room.
Workout: 1 Hour Cross Training
Last week, my coworker Jené introduced me to the strength, conditioning and injury prevention class at Rehab United. It was love at first squat jump. The idea of boot camp-esque class from a physical therapist’s perspective is genius. I’m hoping going once a week for a little pre-hab will keep me out of the orthopedist’s office.
I’ll take some video of the class next week, but in the mean time, here’s an example of one of the exercises we performed: box jump with medicine ball slam. The box I used was about one-third of the height of Ryan Lochte’s ,but you get the idea.
