The Boston Marathon was Christine Campbell's hometown race.
4 miles @ 9:30 min/mile pace
Big decisions came my way this week that required a lot of thought. I wasn’t able to do something I really, really want to do and it broke my spirit a little. Running tonight felt good, but very hard. Just lacing up my shoes was a challenge. I wish I was the type of runner who could run off the blues, but I’m not built that way. Perhaps it is because running is my place to think and I didn’t want to be alone with my thoughts. One word: UGH!
I’m curious, if you’re like me and have a hard time running when you feel down – how do you power through? Let me know here or tweet me @KaraDeschenes.
