When Teri Griege was diagnosed with colon cancer, she set three goals. One of those was to finish the Ironman World Championship.
October is traditionally dedicated to Breast Cancer and Domestic Violence Awareness. In support of these powerful causes, The Bra Recyclers® offers women an opportunity to join these efforts in a different way — by recycling used and unused bras. Bra Recycling is an economical and environmentally friendly way to assist women who are breast cancer survivors or transitioning from domestic violence situations.
The guidelines are simple:
-Bras in good condition; Clasps and straps need to be functional
-All sizes and styles of bras
-Special needs bras, post breast surgery and maternity bras
*Note: If bras are new please keep the tags on the bras. Recipients of the bras appreciate knowing the bras they are receiving are new.
Just follow these easy steps to donate your bras today:
-Wash It. All bras should be washed.
-Tag It. Fill out Bra Recycling Form.
-Box It. Place your bras in a box or large envelope.
-Mail It to:
