April 5 2016
April 19 marks the 50th anniversary—to the day—of Bobbi Gibb's historical Boston Marathon, the first time a woman ran the race.
Don’t worry. It happens to everyone. Sometimes Monday sneaks up to challenge our motivation to keep running.
Truth is- if you start your week off on the right foot (no pun intended), you are more likely to stick with the ambitious training week you planned. It’s easy to let Monday zap the best intentions, which can derail your schedule and leave you feeling defeated from the start. Instead, power through a Monday workout and find your commitment to fitness rejuvenated and fresh at the beginning of the week. After all, if you can make it through Monday’s run, nothing can hold you down. You never regret a run. Ever.
