April 5 2016
April 19 marks the 50th anniversary—to the day—of Bobbi Gibb's historical Boston Marathon, the first time a woman ran the race.
There’s no question – the Fourth of July represents independence. Whether you choose to think of our country’s founding fathers or the men and women defending our honor on the front lines, today is a day to celebrate our freedom.
At Women’s Running, we celebrate all of the strong, independent women who run to feel free. We hope you will blaze the trails and lace up your shoes – simply because you can. Happy Fourth of July!
