You can learn a lot from low moments in the fitting room.
We’re always on the lookout for a great sports bra. We don’t think it’s too much to ask for a bra that does it all (supports without constricting, looks cute and feels good too!). Check out the reviews below to find out more information on the styles pictured above:
*In addition to the review, you’ll find a Women’s Running (WR) recommendation for impact level and target audience.
lululemon Ta-Ta Tamer II ($58, sizes available based on band and cup size)- Made from lulu’s Luxtreme and luon fabrics, this bra provides some serious support. With chafe resistant seams, hook and eye closure, and adjustable straps (you can wear them straight or criss-cross), you can customize the fit and level of support based on your preference. Though sizes sometimes sell out online fast in hot colors, you can usually find your size in store. (WR rating- high impact, great for C or larger cup size)
Moving Comfort Jubralee ($54, sizes available based on band and cup size)- This adjustable strap, hook and eye closure bra provides ultimate comfort. With the hidden side and under bust support, you’re sure to feel secure on the run. Though the snug fit can make it a little difficult to put on, once you master the technique- you’re golden (we hooked the bra in the front, and then spun it around for proper placement)! (WR rating- high impact, great for C or larger cup size)
Saucony Motion Sensor Bra ($45, sizes available based on band and cup size)- The breathable, moldable cups in this bra make it a favorite. With the racerback style and hook and eye closure, you will feel secure and ready to run without bouncing all over. Though it’s a little tricky to get on at first, once you master the placement you’re ready to roll! (WR rating- high impact, great from C or larger cup size)
Asics ARD Adjust Bra ($42, sizes available in S-XL)- The adjustable straps on this bra not only adjust in length, but also in placement. With two simple moves, this bra easily goes from normal straps to racerback for a different feel and level of support. The low cut front is a great option when you don’t want your bra to show, but does slightly lessen the “bounce control” factor, making this bra a stellar candidate for short run days. (WR rating- medium impact, great for C or smaller cup size)
