BATAAN MEMORIAL DEATH MARCH

PAT’S RUN

Tempe, Ariz./ April 2013

Corporal Patrick Tillman abandoned his career as a professional football player to serve in the United States Army. In 2004, his life was cut tragically short after he was killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan. Today, his legacy lives on the, a 4.2-mile race that attracts more than 35,000 runners each year. Veteran’s Marathon

Columbia City, Ind./November 2012

From the VFW band performance at the start to the American flags lining the course this autumn marathon is full of red, white and blue pride. Choose from the marathon, half marathon or 5k to honor courageous men and women who’ve served. The marathon course is located near Fort Wayne, and in 2012, all marathon racers will receive free fleeces in Air Force blue. veteransmarathon.com

Chickamauga Battlefield Marathon

Fort Oglethorpe, Ga./ November 2012
