You can learn a lot from low moments in the fitting room.
Girls, let’s face it. We like to look good. It’s true and there’s no denying it. The beauty of being a female runner means we look amazing with our hair pulled back, no make-up and a little sweat on our brow (and it doesn’t hurt to have cute running clothes!).
Here at Women’s Running, we LOVE products that combine fashion and function. Apparel that offers superior performance AND looks good, melts our running hearts. That is why we love lululemon. This brand has become a staple in our closets because of the clothing’s performance and durability (plus they just keep making such cute pieces!).
First, the Run: Swiftly Tech 1/2 Zip is pretty amazing! It’s made of lulu’s “Silverescent” fabric, which keeps you dry and comfortable. The designers placed mesh venting in high sweat areas so that heat escapes easily, allowing you to stay cool and comfortable. Mesh venting = less sweat = less stink! We don’t just want to look good, we want to smell good too! With the 1/2 zip, this top easily makes the transition from cold weather to cool weather. You can cool down by letting more air in through the adjustable zipper. This is one top you’re gonna love!
As we move closer towards Spring, many of us are shedding our run tights and braving the cold in shorts. Slightly warmer temps allow us to start showing some leg :). The reversible Run: Switch Back Short is two shorts in one (the more lulu the better!). Made with Luxtreme and Swift materials, these shorts are extremely comfortable. The wide waistband is flattering to all figures and wide leg openings don’t restrict your speedy legs from moving. These shorts easily became a “go-to” piece for us, as we venture into warmer weather.
Check out both of these pieces at lululemon’s website or a store near you to snag them while you can! Consider yourself forewarned though, lululemon clothing is pretty fabulous and addiction is easy :). Trust us, you won’t regret your lulu purchases!
We want to know. . .what’s your all time favorite running outfit?
