One runner shares her long history with ultrarunning and explains how the sport helped her heal from a major surgical mistake.
It’s no secret. We, here at Women’s Running magazine, have a thing for dogs (especially running dogs :)). There’s something about the sheer determination in their eyes that just makes us want to lace up our shoes and go for a run. That, and the fact that they have no qualms about letting it all hang out to feel the pure bliss of the wind in their fur for the simple joy of a run. So today, Women’s Running offers you this piece of inspiration to get out for a run. Call it a little reminder that “Real Athletes Run,” because after all- YOU are an Athlete!
Don’t worry, there’s more with this comes from. Stay tuned in the coming weeks as we reveal more four-legged inspiration! Now tell us, at what moment did you realize you were a “Real Athlete?”
