A runner shares a personal essay documenting her years as "the runner" in rural South Dakota.
For any triathletes out there – or anyone ready to tackle your first tri – here’s an opportunity you won’t want to miss:
On the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii, you’ll learn swimming, cycling and running tips and techniques from one of the sport’s best known and most successful coaches, Siri Lindley. During her professional racing career, Lindley was twice ranked the world’s best triathlete, dominating the International Triathlon Union’s World Cup Series. Competitive athletics led Lindley to discover her deepest passion, coaching others to their own personal bests. Lindley’s athletes (including reigning Ironman World Champion Mirinda Carfrae, pictured with Lindley here) have achieved numerous world and national titles and countless professional and age-group race victories.
Your talents need not rival those of the pros to benefit from Lindley’s coaching expertise. Whatever your experience level, Lindley will help guide you along the path of success toward reaching your individual athletic dream. The camp, slated for January 2012, is open to athletes of all abilities and training sessions will be customized to account for every participant’s desires and needs.
